Owner Dawn Mayo grew up in the fashion business and worked as a stylist at Barneys while studying Marketing and design at FIT. With this background in sales, merchandising, and design, She turned her passion for the fashion industry into DMA Showroom. Dawn has illustrious experience in both men's and women's ready to wear. Always with an eye to what's next, the showroom has been at the forefront of emerging trends and young designers. DMA has grown to become a must shop showroom for better contemporary buyers around the world.
As a multi line showroom, DMA has launched major contemporary collections such as All Saints, Reiss of London, Bella Dahl, Serfontaine Denim, Foley & Corinna, American Vintage, Blue Life and Blue Moon. She has launched such companies by giving her merchandising expertise to help the collections create saleable branded product. In more recent years the Chelsea Flower and Love Sam collections, which are both owned and represented by Dawn, have emerged as top selling lines in the contemporary market. The vision which started DMA continues to grow, with a planned expansion into more global markets and products, which Dawn discovers in her travels around the world.
